        Web Novel is a fast growing publisher of online fiction. They are owned by Yuewen (Qidian), a Chinese web fiction company, which is a subsidiary of tech behemoth Tencent. The site features both translated works and English originals. Unlike the other sites featured here, Web Novel does charge a fee to unlock chapters for some of their more popular works through a convoluted “spirit stone” currency system. On the plus side, the UI and design are a step above the norm.

2. Wuxia World (wuxiaworld.com)

        Wuxia World is another repository of Chinese and Korean light novels. The site is run by a group of translators that deliver regular updates to over thirty stories. Some of these stories might be unlicensed and the original authors may not be aware that the stories are being translated and published here. However, it appears recently they’ve entered into licensing agreements with Chinese publisher Qidian for their Chinese stories. This website is recommended for reading Chinese novels with genre of Wuxia, Xianxia, and Martial Arts.

        Novel Online Full is another sites for novel lovers, as this sites have collections of the world’s best-sellers, classic works of literature, and modern masterpieces that will keep updating and provide the newest chapter free of charges. This sites is providing full range of light novels in the world with fast update speed.

4. Novel Full (novelfull.com)

        Novel Full is one of sites that same as Novel Online Full, provide wide range of light novels with free of charge. Other than that, the best things I like from this site is that there's very small possibility of encountering error of the chapter, like [space] become some erratic symbols that keep continuing the whole chapter, making me dizzy from just looking at it. So far, this site is my favorite site for reading novels.

    Speaking of the best web novels, I think everyone must have a different answer. Why ? The most simple and straight forward answer is that different person have different liking of novels, starting from category of novels, background setting of the novels and the other aspects.

    

    Here I will list out 5 of my recommended novels that you might take liking to.

1. Lord of Mysteries / 诡秘之主

    The plot is full of fantasy and supernatural elements. Set in the Victorian era, this steampunk novel has great world-building, smart characters, great fight scenes and many mysteries to be uncovered. The author slowly releases more and more secrets as the story goes on in a wonderful way.

    The magic system is awesome. I have never seen such a great and logical power system anywhere else, as no system is overpowered and each has its limitations.

2. Bringing the Farm to Live in Another World / 带着农场混异界

    The plot is full of fantasy and supernatural with addition of martial arts. The setting is our homebody  MC "Zhao Hai" brought ‘QQ Farm’ along in his traversal to another world and resided within the body of a fallen noble. Even more importantly, he is a magical and martial cripple who could not learn magic and martial arts. After that, he started to farm all the way to the top of the world.

3. Monster Paradise / 怪物乐园

    The plot is full of fantasy and supernatural. The setting is in another world that is gradually becoming paradise for the monsters. Our MC come to this world with "Gold Finger" and become one of the "Cheater" in the universe, becoming more powerful and meet the other "Cheater" that is targeting every one with "Gold Finger".

4. The Record of Unusual Creatures / 异常生物见闻录

    This is a great novel that brings you to travel the universe, with fantasy, adventure, comedy and mysteries filling the story.

    A remote, outdated big apartment, a bunch of rather abnormal non-human creatures, and a labor contract from the “god”, the three factors combined lead him to be the busiest landlord and most supernatural “babysitter”. This is the story of the most complicated, erratic and abnormal landlord and tenants.

5. MMORPG: Martial Gamer / 网游之我是武学家

    This novel is very interesting for someone that is interested in game, as most of the story is within the game. This one is more of game and comedy and of course with addition of martial arts as it's title suggest. 

    Our MC "Wang Yu" is the greatest martial genius the world has ever seen, But where can a martial artist stand in an era of material pursuit? Thus, he became a noob gamer who use his martial arts to bully the other professional gamer.
